About Joel  

 

Joel received his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska School of Law. His undergraduate degree is in Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia.

During law school Joel interned for United States Senator Mark Warner, did an externship with the Department of Justice's Executive Office of Immigration Review's Omaha Immigration Court, interned for the Honorable Carol Schapira at the King County Superior Court in Seattle, and was selected to be a Senior Certified prosecutor at the Lancaster County Attorney's Office as part of the University of Nebraska's Criminal Clinic.

Joel is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association. He is also a board member of the Golden Gate Business Association and is the Commodore of the Cal Sailing Club.
